Use case · Zero results

Stop showing shoppers an empty page.

When a query finds nothing, AACSearch tries a ladder of rewrites before giving up: corrections learned from your own visitors, keyboard-layout repair, transliteration, wider typo tolerance, fewer words. Your filters are never dropped.

The ladder

Each step runs only if the previous one still found nothing, on the first page only, and the response says which step rescued the query.

Learned corrections

The query graph learns from sessions which reformulation visitors made after an empty page — and which one ended in a click. “кросовки” becomes “кроссовки” without a dictionary.

Keyboard layout and transliteration

“rjhcjdrb” is recognised as “кроссовки”; Cyrillic brand spellings are tried in Latin.

Wider typo tolerance, fewer words

More typos are allowed, then the last word is dropped, then any word may match.

Fix the cause, not just the symptom

Zero-result report

Queries that still found nothing, ranked by volume — your synonym and catalogue backlog.

Synonym suggestions

Candidate synonyms mined from queries that returned nothing, for a human to approve.

Did you mean

When a learned correction exists, the response offers it, so the widget can show “did you mean …”.
